The 2026 Summer Exhibition will feature work by invited artists from Derbyshire and beyond.

The invited professional artists are Bernadine Rutter (printmaking and photography); Valerie Dalling (photography); Wendy Darker (painting and ceramics); Danny Grabham (ceramics) Zaza Lewis (collage and painting); Helen Cammiss (painting).

This year the exhibition will also include the Stitching Ashbourne tapestry, created by the Community Tapestry Group.

The Summer Exhibition awards prizes in the open section. Our judges Maggie Cullen and Simon Manby will select the best piece for a prize of £150, plus the opportunity of a show in the Courtney Gallery , Ashbourne. Additionally, the most popular artwork by visitors’ vote will be awarded £100.

The 2026 Exhibition will be open to the public from the 20th of June, and will be held in Ashbourne Town Hall.
